DESCRIPTION: 'Title: Turning Keys and Opening Doors: Leveraging AI Hype t
 o Hack\n Everything\n Tags: Red Team Village | Misc\n When: Saturday
 \, Aug 8\, 14:00 - 14:59 PDT\n Where: LVCCW Level 1 Hall 1 309 (Red Team
  Village) Workshop Stage 1 -\n [1]Map\n\n Description:\n\n Abstract
I've been Red Teaming for over five years now\, and in that\n time I've
led or been involved in more than a dozen Red Team\n engagements where m
y team has successfully (or semi-successfully)\n reached objective. I'm
not an elite hacker. I've learned some cool\n tactics and techniques thr
ough public research and have pieced them\n together with my team to cov
ertly pivot through networks and access\n sensitive data. I've decided t
hat\, while I'm not an elite hacker\, I am\n really good at turning keys
and opening doors.\n\n In this talk I'd like to discuss how I led my co
mpany's first AI Red\n Team operation\, not just by jailbreaking and pro
mpt injecting LLMs\;\n But by backdooring legitimate AI models\, sociall
 y engineering data\n scientists\, attacking ML pipelines\, and abusing n
ew AI technology to\n exfiltrate sensitive training data and proprietary
models.\n\n Outline Discussion of AI operation planning and offensive r
esearch -\n starting with zero AI knowledge\n\n Identification of nove
l GCP attack + pairing it with convincing social\n engineering pretexts\
n\n How we sent 3000+ phish in under 10 minutes\, tech stack and relevan
t\n automation\n\n Demo of the novel GCP attack which leads to account
takeover\n\n Discussion of how the entire attack happens in the ATTACKE
 R's GCP\n environment\, leaving defenders blind\n\n Automated post-exp
loitation for persistence and dealing with short\n lived keys from the G
CP attack\n\n Pivoting to AI related loot\n\n Collaboration with Googl
e to mitigate the risk for ALL GCP customers\n\n Additional offensive GC
P AI attacks like attacking model training\n pipelines with malicious co
ntainers and backdooring legitimate public\n models\n\n In this talk I
plan to publicly disclose a novel GCP attack path that\n enabled my tea
m to take over GCP accounts and projects. This is an\n open vulnerabilit
y in Google's Vulnerability Reporting Programm\n sitting at P1.\n\n Sp
