 unity is bringing live\,\n   bracket-style Backdoors & Breaches Competitiv
 e Games to DEF CON 34.\n   Backdoors & Breaches is an incident response ca
 rd game built around\n   realistic breach scenarios. In our tournament for
 mat\, teams step into\n   the roles of adversaries\, where they will take 
 turns attacking or\n   defending against each other. They must analyze sce
 narios\, identify\n   adversarial tactics\, make technical and business de
 cisions\, and\n   mitigate damage before attackers wipe them out of the ga
 me. This\n   isn’t passive content. This is live\, projected\, real-time
 \n   decision-making. Matches will be bracketed and displayed on screen so
 \n   attendees can watch strategies unfold\, debate choices\, and learn fr
 om\n   both brilliant plays and catastrophic missteps. Spectators become\n
    students of the game — observing how attacks progress\, how defenders
 \n   prioritize\, and how communication and leadership shape outcomes.\n  
  Participants can: • Join the tournament on the spot — no\n   pre-qual
 ifiers required • Compete in structured brackets • Win\n   donated swa
 g • Learn incident response by doing\, not just listening\n   What will 
 you learn? You’ll see how modern attacks move from initial\n   access to
  impact. You’ll experience the tension of limited funding.\n   You’ll 
 learn how small decisions compound during an incident.\n   You’ll unders
 tand how legal\, executive\, and technical perspectives\n   collide in a b
 reach scenario. Most importantly\, you’ll build\n   intuition for thinki
 ng like both attackers and defenders. This is\n   hacking culture through 
 simulation: adversary thinking\, defensive\n   strategy\, rapid analysis\,
  and creative problem solving — all wrapped\n   in competition. Located 
 inside the DCG Community space\, the tournament\n   creates visible energy
  and draws attendees into a broader ecosystem of\n   DEF CON Groups\, work
 shops\, sticker contests\, and community\n   collaboration. If you’ve ev
