  they’re not magic. We are stripping away the industry hype and\n   focu
 sing on hands-on skills\, whether you are building your first\n   exploit 
 or leading an AI red team.\n\n   Here is what you can expect this year:\n\
 n   Drop-In Workshops: Walk up\, grab a seat\, and learn. We have drop in\
 n   hands on mini-workshops on a bunch of topics. These include basic AI\n
    topics like how LLMs actually work\, and how to build agents from\n   s
 cratch. For red teamers we have ones ranging from prompt injection to\n   
 manipulating malware detection models. This is all running locally on\n   
 a cluster we’re bringing to DEF CON.\n\n   HalCTF: Our main competition 
 this year will teach you how to write and\n   fine-tune your own pentestin
 g agent using open-source models. To\n   handle the massive compute load\,
  we're safely detonating these agents\n   on GCP\, giving each participant
  a dedicated GPU for their models.\n\n   Other Agent Shenanigans: The fiel
 d moves fast and there’s going to\n   be something new by defcon. We’r
 e bringing a lot of compute to host\n   things and we’ll have some surpr
 ises in the space.\n\n   Whether you want to hear top-tier research from t
 he people actually\n   breaking these models or you just want to sit down 
 and write an\n   autonomous pentesting agent\, we have the hardware and th
