 ill be presenting a live and\n   unscripted introduction to using Ghidra t
 o reverse engineer real\n   malware samples\, targeting people who are new
  to malware reverse\n   engineering\, but have some programming background
 .\n\n   Dr. McGrew will cover the Ghidra user interface\, how to load samp
 les\,\n   perform initial processing\, and how to navigate around a malici
 ous\n   binary. Then\, for most of the workshop time\, he will provide\n  
  commentary\, advice\, heuristics\, and approaches for malware analysis as
 \n   the workshop group takes a look at one or more samples live on the\n 
   projector.\n\n   This workshop is meant to be interactive\, driven by at
 tendee questions\n   and interests. Beyond the essentials needed to load m
 alware into\n   Ghidra\, the workshop attendees and Dr. McGrew will be col
 laborating on\n   the direction of the workshop material.\n\n   SpeakerBio
 :  Wesley McGrew\, Senior Cyber Fellow at MartinFed\n\n   Dr. Wesley McGre
 w directs research\, development\, reverse engineering\,\n   and offensive
  cyber operations as Senior Cybersecurity Fellow for\n   MartinFederal. He
  has presented at DEF CON and Black Hat USA on topics\n   of penetration t
 esting\, malware analysis\, critical infrastructure\, and\n   vintage comp
 uting\, and has taught self-designed courses on reverse\n   engineering an
 d cyber operations at Mississippi State University.\n   Wesley has a Ph.D.
  in Computer Science from Mississippi State\n   University for his researc
 h in vulnerability analysis of SCADA HMI\n   systems. He has entertained a
 udiences at many DEF CON parties as a\n   house music DJ\, as well.\n\n
