 on:\n\n   Creating shellcode is for the brave! This workshop takes a moder
 n\n   approach to the time-honored tradition of Windows shellcode creation
 .\n   Intended for those with intermediate to advanced knowledge\, we will
 \n   refresh x86 assembly and cover Windows internals.\n\n   You will crea
 te Win32/WoW64 shellcode with NASM before moving onto\n   intermediate\, m
 ulti-API shellcode. Along the way\, we will cover GetPC\,\n   position ind
 ependence\, bad characters\, calling conventions\, stack\n   discipline\, 
 manual API resolution through the PEB/TEB\, export walking\,\n   name/hash
 -based resolution\, strings\, and passing handles or pointers\n   between 
 calls.\n\n   For evasion\, we will explore manual/automated encoding techn
 iques\,\n   making our shellcode self-modifying. We will also cover advanc
 ed\n   techniques\, including direct Windows syscalls with ShellWasp. You 
 will\n   learn Windows structures\, native API parameter handling\, and cr
 eating\n   persistence with syscalls. Expect to be made privy to many shel
 lcoding\n   tips and tricks to bring out the best in your shellcode.\n\n  
  By the end\, you'll be able to: Create Windows shellcode using NASM\;\n  
  launch and debug it\; resolve and chain WinAPIs by name or hash\;\n   obf
 uscate and encode shellcode\; integrate direct syscalls with\n   ShellWasp
 .\n\n   Prep: Study x86 assembly and basic Windows debugging. A VM will be

 Bio:  Bramwell "Bw3ll" Brizendine\n\n   Dr. Bramwell Brizendine has a Ph.D
 . in Cyber Operations and is the\n   Director of the VERONA Lab. Bramwell 
 has regularly spoken at DEFCON\n   and presented at all regional editions 
 of Black Hat (USA\, Europe\,\n   Asia\, MEA)\, as well as at Hack in the B
 ox Amsterdam\, Virus Bulletin\,\n   and Wild West Hackin' Fest. Bramwell r
 eceived a $300\,000 NSA research\n   grant to create the SHAREM shellcode 
 analysis framework\, which brings\n   unprecedented capabilities to shellc
 ode analysis and $500\,000 as a\n   2025 DARPA YFA recipient for a PE file
  emulation framework. He has\n   additionally authored ShellWasp\, which f
 acilitates using Windows\n   syscalls in shellcode\, as well as two code-r
 euse attack frameworks\,\n   ROP ROCKET and JOP ROCKET. Bramwell has previ
 ously taught\n   undergraduate\, master's\, and Ph.D. courses on software 
 exploitation\,\n   reverse engineering\, offensive security\, and malware 
 analysis. He\n   currently teaches cybersecurity courses at the University
  of Alabama\n   in Huntsville.\n\n   SpeakerBio:  Austin "quantumite" Norb
 y\n\n   Dr. Austin Norby is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with ove
 r a\n   decade of experience supporting the Department of Defense. He earn
 ed\n   his bachelor's degrees in mathematics and computer science from the
 \n   University of Minnesota\, a master's degree from the Naval Postgradua
 te\n   School\, and a Doctorate in Cyber Operations from Dakota State\n   
 University\, specializing in anti-debugging techniques. Currently\, Dr.\n 
   Norby serves as the Director of Internal Research and Development at\n  
  Bogart Associates\, where he is responsible for spearheading the\n   crea
 tion of advanced cybersecurity solutions for government use. His\n   techn
 ical proficiencies include reverse engineering\, malware analysis\,\n   an
 d software engineering\, with a strong focus on developing robust\n   cybe
 r capabilities in C\, C++\, Intel assembly\, and Python.\n\n   SpeakerBio:
   Micah Flack\n\n   Micah Flack is a cybersecurity researcher at Idaho Nat
 ional\n   Laboratory\, where his work spans vulnerability research\, firmw
 are and\n   hardware analysis\, malware forensics\, exploit development\, 
 and reverse\n   engineering across multiple platforms and architectures. H
 e is\n   currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cyber Operations at Dakota State\n 
   University\, with research interests rooted in applied cybersecurity\,\n
    software exploitation\, malware analysis\, and shellcoding. Micah also\
 n   holds both a Master‚Äôs degree in Computer Science and a\n   Bache
 lor‚Äôs degree in Cyber Operations from DSU\, where he was\n   active 
 in cybersecurity research and competitions. Micah brings a\n   hands-on pe
 rspective from his varied experiences in working with\n   assembly\, paylo
 ad development\, embedded systems\, and offensive\n   security research.\n
