 ackdown on\n   Dark Fleet (sometimes called Shadow/Ghost Fleet): vessels t
 hat\n   illegally transport sanctioned oil or other cargo. Little known to
  the\n   public\, Coast Guard Cyber Command was deploying its Cyber Protec
 tion\n   Teams (CPTs) onboard these vessels to assure the security & safet
 y of\n   these vessels in cyber space. This talk provides a rare look at t
 he US\n   cyber operators deploying on Dark Fleet Tankers\, the danger the
 se\n   vessels pose\, and lessons learned from these boardings.\n\n   US C

 enberger currently serves as the first Commanding\n   Officer of the 2003 
 Cyber Protection Team (CPT) in Alameda\, CA. He is\n   responsible for pro
 tecting the nation’s Marine Transportation System\n   in cyberspace by c
 onducting hunt\, assess\, and incident response\n   operations. His team i
 s the Coast Guard’s newest CPT and the only\n   CPT geographically detac
 hed from Coast Guard Cyber Command (CGCYBER).\n   He led the DEFCON 33 pre
 sentation\, "From Shanghai to the Shore: The\n   Silent Threat in Global S
 hipping".\n\n   Kenny recently completed an assignment where he founded th
 e Coast\n   Guard’s Red Team and ran the Coast Guard's Blue Team. During
  that\n   tour he founded CGCYBER’s educational phishing capability\, le
 d cyber\n   Opposing Forces for a major multinational exercise\, and overs
 aw over\n   100 Red and Blue Team missions. Other notable positions includ
 e his\n   work as an engineer for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Comm
 and\,\n   where he was a developer on a shipboard cyber security platform.
 \n\n   Kenny has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Coast Guard Acade
 my\n   and an MS Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland (UMD)\
 n   College Park.\n\n   Kenny has also worked as part-time faculty at UMD 
 College Park\, where\n   he taught Binary Exploitation in their Cyber Mast
 ers Program. Industry\n   certifications include OSCP\, GXPN\, GCPN\, GREM
