 eople around you\n   on their mobile phones\, on cellular data?\n\n   GPON
  is the fiber-to-home protocol that carries traffic for hundreds\n   of mi
 llions of subscribers worldwide (and climbing). It operates on a\n   threa
 t model that makes several assumptions that break in the real\n   world.\n
 \n   We'll chat about how it's possible to become a modern day fiber optic
 \n   voyeur with hardware that costs about $100 and watch your neighbor's\
 n   DNS\, SIP calls and most excitingly\, GTP-tunneled 4G/5G traffic from\
 n   the cellular towers that you share a fiber line with.\n\n   Additional
 ly\, we show some fun\, new techniques to retain your access\n   even if y
 our ISP wisens up and enables downstream AES encryption\, by\n   hacking t
 he Optical Line Terminal itself over the fiber line\, and how\n   to build
