 Where: LVCCW Level 1 Hall 3 1102 (Creator Stage 6) - [1]Map\n\n Descript
ion:\n For ten years we told every hunter the same thing: learn the bug\
n classes\, grind the labs\, memorize the payloads. It built a generatio
n\n of hackers\, and the perfect training set. Every writeup\, every\n
PayloadsAllTheThings entry\, every CTF solution is now fuel for a\n mod
el. We documented exploitation so well that we automated ourselves\n out
of the easy half of the job.\n\n I'm not mad about it. It was always go
ing to happen. The bottom of the\n funnel\, the known classes on known s
urfaces\, belongs to the swarm now.\n If your edge is running the same t
emplates against the same assets\,\n you are racing a machine that never
sleeps. You lose that race.\n\n So where did the human edge go? Upstrea
 m. To recon.\n\n Recon never got written down the way exploitation did.
The intro stuff\n did: run these five tools\, pipe it into httpx. But th
e part that\n actually finds the bug\, the judgment about which of forty
thousand\n assets is worth your night\, the instinct for where an org c
ut a\n corner\, the pivots that surface the forgotten staging box\, that
part\n lives in people's heads. It is tribal. It moves through private\
n channels and bar talk at cons. A model cannot train on what was never\
n published.\n\n Recon is the last moat\, and the moat is built from i
nformation\n asymmetry\, not skill. It keeps paying not because hunters
are smarter\n than the bots\, but because hunters know things the bots w
ere never\n told. Every time someone publishes a technique\, the moat dr
ains a\n little. It refills faster than it drains\, because the people w
ho hold\n the best recon rarely have a reason to write it down.\n\n I
will make that concrete\, not philosophical: the categories of recon\n t
hat resist documentation\, why scanners miss them (tools enumerate\,\n h
umans interpret)\, and where to point your attention in 2026. Then I\n g
ive away one or two techniques not in the standard rotation\, walked\n e
nd to end\, with the reasoning\, not just the command. You leave with\n
something you can use that night.\n\n SpeakerBio: Ryan Bonner\, Lead Se
curity Engineer at Arcanum\n Information Security\n\n Ryan Bonner is a
Lead Security Engineer at Arcanum Information\n Security\, where he bui
lds AI systems\, hacks them\, and runs application\n penetration tests.
 Off the clock he hunts wide-scope bug bounty\n programs.\n\n '\n\n 1
