  systems. Increasing in-flight\n   connectivity\, satellite communications
 \, and networked avionics have\n   eroded the assumption of airborne isola
 tion. At the same time\,\n   AI-generated attacks are lowering both the ba
 rrier to entry and the\n   time-to-exploit\, enabling faster\, more adapti
 ve threat behavior. In\n   contrast\, patching and remediation time in avi
 ation systems remains\n   long due to rigorous certification and deploymen
 t constraints. This\n   growing asymmetry further elevates cybersecurity r
 isk into a direct\n   safety concern. In this environment\, a security ris
 k is a safety risk.\n   This raises a critical question: not whether cyber
 security is needed\n   in aircraft\, but whether cybersecurity tools can b
 e certified for\n   safety-critical airborne systems.\n\n   This talk focu
 ses on the challenge of bridging that gap by asking: can\n   we generate t
 he right verification artifacts to make existing\n   cybersecurity tools c
 ertifiable\, without modifying their core\n   functionality? We explore wh
 y cybersecurity tools are rarely\n   introduced into DAL-A airborne system
 s in their native form\, focusing\n   on the mismatch between operational 
 security outputs and certification\n   evidence requirements. The core pro
 blem is not only deterministic\n   behavior\, but the lack of structured\,
  complete\, and traceable\n   artifacts to support certification arguments
