DESCRIPTION: 'Title: CryptoHack Badge Teardown\n Tags: Cryptocurrency V
 illage | Creator Workshop\n When: Friday\, Aug 7\, 16:00 - 16:59 PDT\n
  Where: LVCCW Level 1 Hall 2 702 (Cryptocurrency Village) - [1]Map\n\n D
escription:\n\n What is the board hanging around your neck actually made
of? In this\n beginner-friendly session we dissect the open-hardware Cr
yptohack\n badge and learn to read it like an engineer: schematic symbol
 s\, the\n power chain (USB-C → charger → LDO → 3V3 rail)\, the ESP
32-C3 and\n its support parts\, and peripherals sharing a handful of bus
es. Then\,\n in a live KiCad speed-run\, we rebuild a slice of the board
  from\n scratch: schematic → footprints → layout → route → DRC.
No\n electronics background needed\; by the end you can open any KiCad\n
schematic and name every part.\n\n A free of charge Cryptohack Badge
is available for each participating\n student to use and take home for f
 urther exploration\, you’re\n welcome!\n\n Speakers:Sadiq "Sdqmd"\,D
 o Truong Giang "FSNaix"\n\n SpeakerBio: Sadiq "Sdqmd"\, CodeBit\n\n s
dqmd (Sadiq) is a hardware hacker and co-founder of CodeBit\, a\n techno
logy company based in Brunei that's building a hardware\n engineering ac
ademy to teach embedded systems and security from the\n ground up. He is
focused on developing a pedagogy that blends theory\n with hands-on pra
ctice\, so aspiring hackers — especially those just\n starting out —
don't just learn how something works\; they build it\,\n break it\, and
understand it for themselves. His own research focuses\n on hardware at
tacks against embedded devices — using fault injection\n and power ana
lysis to defeat the security of everything from crypto\n hardware wallet
s to point-of-sale infrastructure. Above all\, he's\n driven by one goal
: building hardware and security competency in\n Brunei\, where hands-on
learning is still hard to come by.\n\n SpeakerBio: Do Truong Giang "FS
 Naix"\, BlossomsAI / Bloomify (AI &\n Security)\n\n I'm Giang (FSNaix)
\, an AI and security researcher from Vietnam and a\n Bloomify cofounder
 . I help build open-source Vietnamese language\n models with BlossomsAI\
, I built Petal (an AI tool that\n reverse-engineers binaries faster tha
n doing it by hand)\, and at\n DEFCON Singapore 1 I managed to get DOOM
 running on a $20 conference\n badge.\n\n '\n\n 1. #LVCCW_Level1_Hall
