 irement\, not optional. Dell\, IGEL and HP all ship FDE\n   backed by TPM 
 hardware and modern cryptography. I broke all three.\n\n   I present new r
 esearch demonstrating vulnerabilities that permit full\n   disk encryption
  bypass across Dell ThinOS 9.x - 10.x\, HP ThinPro 8.x -\n   9.x\, and IGE
 L OS 11.x - 12.x. Every attack achieving filesystem access\n   from a powe
 red-off device with no credentials and no specialist\n   hardware. Behind 
 the encryption: WiFi credentials\, 802.1x NAC client\n   certificates\, VD
 I session configs\, management server credentials\, and\n   password hashe
 s. Compromised devices provide a foothold into the\n   infrastructure it w
 as connected to. I trace Dell's implementation\n   across three generation
 s getting progressively further from best\n   practice\, show IGEL's corre
 ct PCR policy and modern cryptography\n   bypassed through their own signe
 d bootloader\, and demonstrate HP's\n   implementation undone by an unmeas
