 g assistants accelerate software development\, the volume of\n   pull requ
 ests at Datadog has grown to nearly 10\,000 per week\,\n   increasing the 
 risk that malicious changes slip through due to review\n   fatigue. To add
 ress this\, Datadog built BewAIre\, an LLM-powered code\n   review system 
 designed to identify malicious source code changes\n   introduced by threa
 t actors. By reducing approval fatigue for\n   developers while increasing
  friction for attackers\, BewAIre guides\n   human reviewers to the areas 
 where judgment matters most\, without\n   slowing developer velocity.\n\n 
   In this breakout session\, Andrew Krug\, Head of Security Advocacy and\n
    Research will share why BewAIre was built\, how it evolved from a\n   h
 ackathon experiment into a production-grade internal system\, and the\n   
 key architectural decisions and trade-offs involved along the way.\n   The
 y will discuss what worked\, what didn't\, and the limitations the\n   tea
 m encountered when applying LLMs to security-critical workflows.\n\n   The
 y will also cover how BewAIre is now being integrated into Datadog\n   Cod
