  Description:\n\n   This contest is simple\, and is designed to teach you 
 the basics of\n   transmitter direction finding and “fox hunting”. We 
 offer multiple\n   levels of difficulty – whether you’ve never done a 
 fox hunt before\n   or are a seasoned pro\, you can participate in the hun
 t! Learning how\n   to locate the source of radio signals is an important 
 tool you can add\n   to your hacker arsenal. Whether you’re hunting for 
 a source of\n   interference\, a rogue wireless AP\, or tracking down the 
 FCC’s\n   monitoring vans\, the real-world skills you will gain from thi
 s contest\n   will be invaluable.\n\n   To participate in the beginner IR 
 foxhunt you will need a device that\n   can receive IR light in the 900nm 
 range – such as many cell phones\n   and digital cameras!\n\n   To parti
 cipate in the RF foxhunt(s) you will need a radio or a scanner\n   that ca
 n receive signals in the 2m and/or 70cm Amateur Radio Bands\n   (144.000 M
