   Browser-based attacks are not new in the malicious landscape of attack\n
    patterns. Browsers remain a popular infiltration method for\n   attacke
 rs. \n\n   While seemingly local\, services running on localhost are acce
 ssible to\n   the browser using a flaw we found\, exposing the ports on th
 e localhost\n   network interface\, and leaving the floodgates ajar to rem
 ote network\n   attacks.\n\n   In this live demo and attack simulation weâ
 €™ll unveil a zero-day\n   vulnerability (still under responsible disclosu
 re) in Chrome and other\n   browsers\, and how we use the 0-day to attack 
 developers behind\n   firewalls. We will demonstrate remote code execution
  on a wildly\n   popular open-source platform serving millions in the data
  engineering\n   ecosystem\, that seems to run on localhost.\n\n   In our 
 talk\, we will present novel attack techniques\, targeting\n   developers 
 and employees within an organization\, that are behind\n   firewalls. This
  will be a first-ever deep dive into this newly\n   discovered zero-day vu
