 ntum community is searching for future applications of\n   quantum computi
 ng and quantum communications. A somewhat uncommon way\n   to think about 
 this problem is through quantum game theory. This field\n   of research lo
 oks at how quantum resources can be used in both\n   cooperative and compe
 titive games to achieve what would be impossible\n   with only classical r
 esources. In this talk we’ll look at some of\n   the fundamentals of qua
 ntum game theory\, including some archetypal\n   examples of quantum strat
 egies and some theoretical results that show\n   how quantum games differ 
 from classical ones.\n\n   SpeakerBio:  Michael Dascal\n\n   Michael leads
  the FCAT quantum computing incubator and is responsible\n   for monitorin
 g the quantum ecosystem and exploring collaboration\,\n   engagement\, and
  community development opportunities. He has given\n   multiple technical 
 and non-technical talks in quantum computing and\n   quantum information\,
  and is dedicated to promoting an optimistic\, but\n   realistic understan
 ding of quantum technologies and the quantum\n   timeline.\n\n   Michaelâ€
 ™s background includes a combination of industry and academic\n   experien
 ce\, including a decade in marketing and communications for\n   Fortune 10
 0 brands. He holds a PhD in foundations of quantum mechanics\n   and quant
 um information and degrees in philosophy\, physics\, and\n   linguistics.\
