 11:45 PDT\n Where: LVCC West/Floor 3/W308 - [1]Map\n\n Description:\n\
n MITRE Caldera is a scalable\, automated adversary emulation\,\n open
-source cybersecurity platform developed by MITRE. It empowers\n cyber p
ractitioners to save time\, money\, and energy through automated\n secur
ity assessments. Caldera not only tests and evaluates\n detection/analyt
ic and response platforms\, but it also provides the\n capability for yo
ur red team to perform manual assessments with\n computer assistance. Th
is is achieved by augmenting existing offensive\n toolsets. The framewor
k can be extended to integrate with any custom\n tools you may have. The
development team behind the platform is a\n group of red teamers\, soft
 ware developers\, exploit writers\, cyber\n threat analysts\, AI researc
hers\, cybersecurity engineers\, and computer\n scientists. They all pur
sue the common goal of building a premier\n adversary emulation platform
for our security defenders around the\n world.\n\n Speakers:Mark Perr

ty Engineer at MITRE\n Corp\n\n Mark Perry is a Lead Applied Cyber Sec
urity Engineer at MITRE Corp\,\n where he specializes in adversary emula
tion and work development. With\n a robust background in infrastructure
and cyber security frameworks\,\n Mark brings extensive expertise to his
role\, focusing on fortifying\n systems against sophisticated cyber thr
eats. He has worked on projects\n involving adversary emulation\, red te
aming\, cyber threat intelligence\,\n and software development. Mark als
o leads development and delivery of\n Caldera workshops\, providing part
icipants with practical\, hands-on\n training utilizing cybersecurity te
 chniques. Additionally\, he actively\n promotes Caldera’s benefactor p
rogram\, fostering community support\n and engagement to further the dev
