DESCRIPTION: 'Title: LFG! Forming a Bug Bounty Hunting Party\n When: Fr
 iday\, Aug 9\, 16:30 - 17:59 PDT\n Where: LVCC West/Floor 2/W215 - [1]Ma
p\n\n Description:\n\n James "Jimmy" Donaldson\, better known by his o
nline handle Mr. Beast\,\n is the most successful YouTuber of all time.
The digital superstar has\n often spoken about how learning to make digi
tal content with a group\n was the reason he was able to grow so quickly
. By collaborating with a\n small cohort of people who shared his passio
n\, each individual was\n able to not only learn from one another's uniq
ue skills\, but most\n importantly\, they learned from each other's fail
ures and made\n corrections to avoid those pitfalls themselves. This wor
kshop is\n designed to help you learn to apply this same principle to Bu
g Bounty\n Hunting and grow exponentially faster than you can on your ow
n.\n\n After sharing some success stories from his own journey\, Harriso
n\n Richardson (rs0n) will lead the audience in forming small bug bounty
\n hunting groups optimized for success. Attendees will be grouped based
\n on their technical skills\, bug bounty experience\, and work experien
ce\n to build an effective cohort. Next\, rs0n will guide each group in\
n selecting a public Bug Bounty Program based on their combined skills\n
and will coach the groups individually on working together to find and\
n report bugs. Special emphasis will be placed on learning to take\n e
ssential notes and build a custom hunting methodology that works for\n y
ou and your team. Finally\, rs0n will host a live Q&A session to\n answe
r any "burning" questions the participants have about bug bounty\n hunti
ng and/or transitioning to a career of Application Security.\n\n There h
ave been massive strides made in the bug bounty industry over\n the past
few years\, but one problem continues to persist. Researchers\n at all
levels view other bug bounty hunters as competition who will\n steal the
ir techniques. The goal of this workshop is not only to teach\n the skil
ls needed to effectively collaborate on bug bounty programs\,\n but also
to demonstrate the immense value of collaboration when\n learning offen
sive security.\n\n SpeakerBio: Harrison Richardson\n\n Harrison Richa
rdson (rs0n) began his Cybersecurity career in the US\n Army as a 25B. A
fter leaving the service\, Harrison worked various\n contract and freela
nce jobs while completing his Masters in\n Cybersecurity from the Univer
sity of Dallas. Harrison's first\n full-time job in the civilian sector
was at Rapid7\, where he worked as\n a senior security solutions enginee
r as part of their Applied\n Engineering Team. Today\, Harrison is the s
ecurity engineering manager\n for the FloQast Security Team\, specifical
ly overseeing application\n security. In his free time\, Harrison works
to provide educational\n content to the bug bounty community through You
 Tube and Twitch.\n\n '\n\n 1. #LVCCW_Level2_West\n\n\n
