 nt is returning to DEF CON to release\n   an RFI Summary Report that conso
 lidates the feedback received from the\n   open-source software community 
 and highlight agency-wide priorities to\n   secure the open-source softwar
 e ecosystem. In this panel\, you will\n   hear from government employees l
 eading the charge on policy solutions\n   towards secure open-source softw
 are and building trust with the\n   open-source software ecosystem. In thi
 s panel\, White House\, the U.S.\n   Department of Homeland Security\, and
  Infrastructure Security Agency\n   officials will present an overview of 
 the Federal Government efforts\n   in this space. The discussion will addr
 ess the five priority areas\n   addressed in the RFI\, including (i) Secur
 ing Open-Source Software\n   Foundations\; (ii) Sustaining Open-Source Sof
 tware Communities and\n   Governance\; (iii) Creating Behavioral and Econo
 mic Incentives to\n   Secure the Open-Source Software Ecosystem\; (iv) Imp
 roving R&D/\n   Innovation\; and (v) Expanding International Collaboration

 Advisor at Office of the\n   National Cyber Director (ONCD)\n\n   Nasreen 
 Djouini is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Office of the\n   National Cyber
  Director working on efforts to secure open-source\n   software. In this r
 ole\, she leads and facilitates the multi-agency\n   working group on Open
 -Source Software initiative (OS3I).\n\n   SpeakerBio:  Jordan Kasper\, Sen
 ior Advisor for Technology and Delivery\n   in the Office of the CIO at De
 partment of Homeland Security\n\n   Jordan Kasper is a software engineer\,
  speaker\, tinkerer\, and open\n   source zealot. He spent much of his car
 eer in private industry\n   building web applications for companies and or
 ganizations of all\n   sizes. In 2017\, he joined the U.S. Digital Service
  to help make\n   technology better for all Americans. Since then he has w
 orked on\n   systems that serve millions of people and has written policie
 s and\n   strategies that have shaped government information technology ac
 ross\n   the board. He has developed in numerous languages from Natural on
  IBM\n   mainframes to microservices in Node.js. Over the years he has spo
 ken\n   at over a hundred events worldwide on all things tech. He currentl
 y\n   serves as Senior Advisor for Technology and Delivery in the Office o
 f\n   the CIO for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.\n\n   SpeakerB

 y\n\n   Aeva Black is an open-source hacker and international public speak
 er\n   with 25 years of experience building digital infrastructure and\n  
  leading open-source projects. They previously served on the OpenSSF\n   T
 echnical Advisory Committee\, OpenStack Technical Committee\,\n   Kubernet
 es Code of Conduct Committee\, and led open-source security\n   strategy w
 ithin the Microsoft Azure Office of the CTO. In their spare\n   time\, Aev
 a serves on the Board of the Open-Source Initiative and\n   enjoys riding
