 BTV) CTF is a cyber defense Capture the Flag\n   inspired by a mix of tren
 ding nation-state actor kill chains and at\n   least one custom insider th
 reat story. You are an incident responder\n   tasked to investigate severa
 l incidents involving different operating\n   systems and OT devices. You 
 will have access to SIEM and Packet\n   captures\; however\, just like in 
 real life\, these tools have issues you\n   must overcome to uncover what 
 happened.\n\n   Expect indexes to telemetry issues\, raw data not extracte
 d properly\,\n   and missing fields. Regex may be helpful. In addition\, A
 rkime\, the\n   network monitoring tool\, will only work partially and cor
 rectly. You\n   must find ways to make the best of the telemetry provided\
 , and\n   remember that you can always extract the resulting pcaps!\n\n   
 The CTF challenges contestants to leverage diverse cyber defense\n   skill
 s\, including Incident Response\, Forensics\, and Threat Hunting.\n   Both
  host and network telemetry are required to solve all the flags.\n\n   BTV
 ’s Project Obsidian crew developed the CTF to allow anyone\,\n   regardl
 ess of skill or knowledge\, to participate and sharpen their\n   cyber def
 ense skills. We recommend creating or joining a team if you\n   are new to
  cyber defense. We highly recommend participating in the\n   BTV’s Proje
 ct Obsidian workshop sessions if you are new to cyber\n   defense. Session
 s cover many of the topics on the CTF and will help\n   you along the way.
