 tial risk to democracy\, both at home and\n   abroad. There are various un
 derlying sociological\, geopolitical and\n   economic forces that give ris
 e to a crises of this magnitude. How are\n   authoritarian actors exploiti
 ng this to weaken the liberal democratic\n   order? How can these dynamics
  help us create a frame to better\n   understand the nature of Cognitive W
 arfare? Our liberal democratic\n   system is under increasing levels of at
 tack. Who are the internal and\n   external threat actors behind this? Are
  they working together? Our\n   liberal democratic system is under increas
 ing levels of attack. Who\n   are the internal and external threat actors 
 behind this? Are they\n   working together? The terms disinformation and m
 isinformation are\n   often used to describe cognitive warfare influents (
 instances of\n   influence used in a CW campaign)\, but these terms can al
 so limit our\n   ability to detect and defend. Let’s explore a model of 
 Cognitive\n   Warfare that helps us understand the broad range of tactics 
 being used\n   as well as who is being targeted and how.We will also explo
 re how\n   Cognitive Warfare can complement other domains of conflict and 
 how CW\n   has even been used as part of kinetic combat operations. What a
 re some\n   of the natural asymmetries when CW is being used in conflicts 
 between\n   authoritative and democratic systems? Join us as we work to gr
 ow and\n   model our understanding this new and critical domain of conflic
 t.\n\n   SpeakerBio:  Constantine Nicolaidis\n\n   Constantine leads a Ris
 k Management practice that focuses on securing\n   U.S. privately owned cr
 itical infrastructure. Over the last decade he\n   has leveraged his exper
 tise in security and data-based product\n   development to create tools fo
 r security professionals. Constantine\n   has also spent the last 5 years 
 developing a geopolitical modeling\n   system to help forecast and describ
 e the nature of political and\n   social crises. He advises various securi
 ty groups on the nature of\n   modern multi-domain warfare with an emphasi
 s on the cyber and\n   cognitive domains. Constantine holds a Master’s D
 egree in\n   Human-Computer Interaction from the Carnegie Mellon School of
  Computer\n   Science and is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Cyber
