\n this work\, Will has seen the impact of cyber criminal networks\, bot

 Office’s Crisis Negotiation Team.\n\n Description:\n A movement is b
uilding among law enforcement around the world to\n connect with young p
eople who are on the path to cybercrime and help\n them redirect their s
kills to more constructive\, lawful ends. While\n conventional law enfor
cement is concerned with prosecutions\,\n prevention strategies seek to
engage with (future) offenders and\n divert them away from committing cy
bercrime in the first place (or to\n desist from doing so once they have
started). A number of tactics have\n been explored for blocking pathway
s into cybercrime. These include TV\n advertisements to encourage parent
s to take note of what their\n children might doing online\, warnings wh
en youths are crossing into\n cybercriminal activities\, workshops with
mentor figures who can\n demonstrate more productive (and legal) uses of
hacking skills\, and\n connections to employers who can potentially off
er pathways towards\n legitimate employment in cybersecurity or the tech
nology sector more\n broadly. This panel offers a diverse range of persp
ectives on\n cybercrime prevention: a pioneer of prevention efforts in t
he United\n Kingdom and the Netherlands\; an American attorney involved
in high\n profile computer crime defense cases\; a US law enforcement ag
ent\; and\n a well-known former hacker. The panel is moderated by an aca
demic\n expert on cybercrime. Come learn about ongoing prevention effort
s and\n how you might be able to help as a policymaker\, potential mento
 r\, or\n general supporter.\n '\n\n 1. #CaesarsSummitBR\n\n\n
