escription:\n Every technical product is now incorporating machine learn
ing at an\n explosive rate. But most people\, even those with strong tec
hnical\n skills\, don't understand how it works\, what its capabilities
are\, and\n what security risks come with it. In this workshop\, we'll m
ake machine\n learning models using simple Python scripts\, train them\,
and evaluate\n their value. Projects include computer vision\, breaking
  a CAPTCHA\,\n deblurring images\, regression\, and classification tasks
. We will\n perform poisoning and evasion attacks on machine learning sy
stems\, and\n implement deep neural rejection to block such attacks.\n\n
No experience with programming or machine learning is required\, and\n
the only software required is a Web browser. We will use TensorFlow on\n
free Google Colab cloud systems.\n\n All materials and challenges are
freely available at samsclass.info\,\n and will remain available after
the workshop ends.\n\n Skill Level: Beginner\n\n Prerequisites for stu
dents:\n - None\n\n Materials or Equipment students will need to bring
