 Krebs is the Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Under\n   Secret
 ary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate in the\n   Depart
 ment of Homeland Security\, where he oversees the cyber and\n   physical i
 nfrastructure security mission for the Department. He is\n   concurrently 
 filling the role of Assistant Secretary for the Office of\n   Infrastructu
 re Protection\, to which he was appointed by the President\n   in August 2
 017. As Assistant Secretary\, he leads NPPDâ€™s mission on\n   issues such
  as preventing complex mass attacks\, securing high-risk\n   chemicals\, a
 nd other areas related to cyber and physical\n   infrastructure resilience
 . This includes serving as the national\n   coordinator for the critical i
 nfrastructure security and resilience\n   mission and directly managing 6 
 of the 16 critical infrastructure\n   sectors outlined in the National Inf
 rastructure Protection Plan. The\n   16 sectors cover a complex and interc
 onnected range of infrastructure\,\n   such as commercial facilities\, eme
 rgency services\, chemical\n   facilities\, nuclear facilities and governm
 ent facilities including the\n   2017 addition of an election infrastructu
 re subsector. Mr. Krebs\n   joined the Department of Homeland Security in 
 March 2017\, serving as\n   Senior Counselor to the Secretary\, where he a
 dvised DHS leadership on\n   a range of cybersecurity\, critical infrastru
 cture protection\, and\n   national resilience issues. Prior to coming to 
 DHS\, Krebs was a member\n   of Microsoftâ€™s US Government Affairs team a
 s Director for\n   Cybersecurity Policy\, where he led Microsoftâ€™s U.S. 
 policy work on\n   cybersecurity and technology issues. Before Microsoft\,
  Krebs advised\n   industry and Federal\, State\, and local government cus
 tomers on range\n   of cybersecurity and risk management issues. This the 
 second time he\n   has worked at the Department\, previously serving as Se
 nior Advisor to\n   the Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection 
 and playing a\n   formative role in a number of national and international
  risk\n   management programs. He holds a Bachelors in Environmental Scien
 ces\n   from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the Antonin Scalia

    SpeakerBio:Kendall Spencer\n   Kendall Spencer is an associate in the I
 ntellectual Property\n   Department. Kendall is based in the Boston office
  where he is a member\n   of the Technology Transactions\, Cybersecurity\,
  and PrivacyÂ Practice\n   Group. In his previous position as a law clerk\
 , Kendall specialized in\n   Complex Litigation. He also has a strong focu
 s on technology law.\n   Kendall has advised on blockchain technology inte
 gration\, researched\n   blockchain voting regulations\, and investigated 
 the use of blockchain\n   technology to create a database of information o
 n its advantages and\n   efficacy. Additionally\, he assisted in drafting 
 an article regarding\n   data privacy issues within real estate law. Kenda
 ll serves as a member\n   of the Executive Leadership Team with the Nation
 al Governing Body of\n   USA Track and Field (USATF)\, as well as a board 
 member with the\n   National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). As a

 trainer and moderator. She\n   believes that we need to change the way we 
 communicate\, to introduce\n   more understanding in between humans. She i
 s a Co-founder and Head of\n   StratCom of Alliance4Europe where she deals
  with strategic\n   communication\, to build more diverse internet. She co
 -founded Future\n   Forces Foundation that is working for more impactful b
 usiness. She is\n   also Vice-President of the Free European Media Associa
 tion. In 2017\n   she co-created Keyboard Warriors in Poland\, community t
 hat debunks\n   disinformation. Maia is a barrister educated in Poland and
