n Description:\n The Shell On Demand Appliance Machine (S.O.D.A. Machi
ne) at DEF CON\n provided by the National Upcycled Computing Collective\
 , Inc. (NUCC).\n\n So\, what's the S.O.D.A. Machine all about?\n\n Pic
ture this:\n\n You're at DEF CON\, thirsty for some hacking. You're look
ing for a\n virtual machine (VM) to play with but don't want to be chain
ed to your\n laptop.\n\n Enter the Shell On Demand Appliance:\n\n Th
is heavily modified VM is your gateway to an anonymous VM\, available\n
in the Chillout Lounge and accessible over the DEF CON network.\n\n A fu
 sion of hardware\, software\, art\, and hacking\, all encapsulated in\n
a project derived from recycled materials. The S.O.D.A. Machine\n provid
es a way for Humans to experience the DEF CON network in a way\n the sec
 ure WiFi won't allow\, because the datacenter is inside the\n S.O.D.A. M
achine and directly connected to the NOC.\n\n Simply insert cash or coin
s into the bill or coin acceptor to get\n started. The lights on the but
tons will change color depending on\n availibility.\n\n A green light
means the VM is available and ready.\n\n An amber light requests the use
r to insert more money to ensure fair\n distribution according to curren
t resources.\n\n A red light denotes the selection is unavailable.\n\n
Once you make a selection\, the system will deploy the VM to the\n netw
ork and a receipt will be printed.\n\n On the receipt\, login credential
s are provided for you to access your\n virtual machine via remote shell
. You are then able to change the\n password\, install whatever tools an
d applications you need\, making the\n VM your own.\n\n What you do wi
th the VM is up to you. Should you choose to share your\n virtual machin
e with someone outside of the DEF CON network\, a Tor\n address is provi
ded as well.\n\n All proceeds go to the National Upcycled Computing Coll
 ective\, Inc.\, a\n 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping further res
earch and\n education in computer science\, technology and engineering a
