 stuff\n really works (Pre-Registration Required)\n When: Saturday\, Au

kshop Checkin - [1]Map\n\n SpeakerBio:Chris Greer \, Network Analyst and
Wireshark Instructor at\n Packet Pioneer\n Chris Greer is a network a
nalyst and Wireshark instructor for Packet\n Pioneer\, a Wireshark Unive
rsity partner. He has focused much of his\n career at the transport laye
r\, specifically TCP\, specializing in how\n this core protocol works to
deliver applications\, services\, and\n attacks between systems. Chris
is a regular speaker at Sharkfest - the\n Wireshark Developer and User C
onference. He has presented at DEFCON\n and other industry conferences a
nd regularly posts Wireshark analysis\n tips to his YouTube channel.\n\n
Description:\n Let's break out Wireshark and dig deep in to the TCP a
nd IP protocols.\n This skill is critical for anyone interested in any a
rea of\n cybersecurity\, no matter the color of the hat. Almost all enum
eration\,\n scans\, incident response\, and traffic forensics require th
e analyst to\n dig into and interpret TCP conversations. When enumeratin
g an\n environment\, identifying key TCP/IP indicators in protocol heade
rs can\n also help when passively fingerprinting systems.\n\n In this
workshop we will roll back our sleeves and learn how TCP/IP\n really wor
 ks - the handshake\, options\, sequence/ack numbers\,\n retransmissions\
, TTL\, and much more. This workshop welcomes all\n cybersecurity and wi
reshark experience levels.\n\n Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate\n\n
Prerequisites for students:\n - Just a laptop with a copy of Wireshar
 k. - I will provide the sample\n pcaps for analysis.\n\n Materials or
