DESCRIPTION: 'Title: USBvalve - Expose USB activity on the fly\n When:
 Saturday\, Aug 12\, 10:00 - 11:55 PDT\n Where: Caesars Forum - Unity Boa
 rdroom - Demo Labs - [1]Map\n\n SpeakerBio:Cesare Pizzi\n Cesare Pizzi
is a Security Researcher\, Analyst\, and Technology\n Enthusiast at Sor
int.lab. He develops software and hardware\, and tries\n to share this w
ith the community. Mainly focused on low level\n programming\, he develo
ped a lot of OpenSource software\, sometimes\n hardware related and some
times not. Doing a lot of reverse engineering\n too. He likes to share h
is job when possible (at Defcon\, Insomni'hack\,\n Nullcon. etc). Contri
butor of several OS Security project (Volatility\,\n OpenCanary\, Persis
 tenceSniper\, Speakeasy\, CETUS\, etc) and CTF player.\n\n Description:\
n USB spreading malware is still a concern today. Over the past few\n
months\, we have witnessed an increase in malicious software exploiting\n
USB drives to bypass security measures\, even in air-gapped systems.\n
Whenever we connect our USB drive to an "untrusted" system\, numerous\n
doubts arise: what happens behind the scenes? Is something accessing\,\n
modifying\, or encrypting our files? This is where USBvalve comes in.\n
It is an affordable dongle\, built using readily available hardware\,\n
designed to reveal the true activities occurring when a USB drive is\n
connected to a system. It can also be used to check for "BADUSB" (HID)\n
on USB keys before inserting them into our own systems. The best part\n
is that it's as compact as a keychain\, making it convenient to carry\n
   with us at all times!\n '\n\n 1. #CaesarsSummitBR\n\n\n
