DESCRIPTION: 'Title: The Wifydra: Multiheaded RF Panopticon\n When: Sat
 urday\, Aug 12\, 10:00 - 11:55 PDT\n Where: Caesars Forum - Society Boar
 droom - Demo Labs - [1]Map\n\n SpeakerBio:Lozaning\n Lozaning (they/th
em) has been wardriving for over 10 years and enjoys\n designing\, build
ing\, and assembling unorthodox network observation\n platforms such as:
The Wifydra (presented here)\, The International\n Wigle Space Balloon\
, and turning an Amtrak roomette into a mobile\n radio observation lab.
Currently ranked as the 84th best wardriver in\n the world on Wigle.net\
, Lozaning loves all things wifi and high\n precision GNSS related.\n\n
Lozaning loves wifi\, radios\, blinky lights\, and fancy GPS receivers.\
n They've been wardriving for over 20 years and are now ranked in the\n
top 100 wardrivers in the world.\n\n\n Description:\n The Wifydra is
open source hardware and software used to locate\n wireless access poin
ts for wardriving. The project is a continuation\n of the work done prev
iously by Mike Spicer (@d4rkm4tter) and his WiFi\n Cactus and Kraken. It
's designed to be a low power and low cost\n modular way of simultaneous
ly monitoring all 2.4Ghz WiFi channels for\n AP beacons. By utilizing st
rictly off the shelf embedded components\,\n the Wifydra is able to keep
costs extremely low (~$90) and its\n footprint extremely small (250 squ
are cm). More importantly\, minimal\n power consumption is maintained\,
requiring only a USB C battery\n capable of putting out 10 watts. The Wi
fydra is modular in nature and\n supports a multitude of GNSS (Global Na
vigation Satellite System)\n options for location tagging. The ESP32-C5
for 5Ghz channel monitoring\n will also be supported once the hardware b
ecomes available. The\n version of The Wifydra demoed consists of 14 ESP
8266 called sub nodes\,\n an additional ESP32 called the dom node\, SD c
ard holder\, GNSS module\,\n OLED screen\, as well as the Wifydra carrie
 r board that connects all\n these components. The firmware\, BOM\, and g
erbers are all available in\n The Wifydra's Github repo: [2]https://gith
