  equipment hacks caused by nation-state\n   actors attacking humans and wa
 ys to mitigate similar impacts. Examples\n   will cover a range of laborat
 ory equipment\, including research labs\n   and industrial manufacturing f
 acilities. In this talk\, we will explore\n   the common causes of laborat
 ory and OT equipment breaches caused by\n   human error\, including miscon
 figuration\, misuse\, and malicious\n   actions. We will examine the poten
 tial consequences of such failures\,\n   including data loss\, damage to e
 quipment\, and even injury. I will also\n   present a range of strategies 
 for preventing such issues\, including\n   implementing standard operating
  procedures with a security focus\,\n   using equipment monitoring systems
