 ith it grim implications not\n   just for abortion access in America\, but
  for all digital privacy\n   rights. In this talk we revisit the threats t
 o our privacy and\n   encryption slipped into law and practice under the g
 uise of\n   “protecting life” that were first discussed in the 2018 ta
 lk\n   “Jailed by a Google Search.” We will then examine the pervasive
 \n   digital monitoring that in many ways creates an even more dangerous\n
    surveillance environment for pregnant people than before Roe’s 1973\n
    landmark ruling (temporarily) federally legalizing abortion.\n\n   Toda
 y patients must navigate an ever-expanding interlocked web of\n   digital 
 data collection and anti-abortion misinformation\, all while\n   enduring 
 the existing infrastructures of pregnancy surveillance in our\n   medical 
 and policing systems. By the end of this talk you’ll receive\n   informa
 tion on how to threat model issues that may come up in pursuing\n   differ
 ent safe abortion options\, tips and strategies for digitally\n   securing
  an abortion experience\, and ways our privacy community can\n   help take
