perations Training\n Solomon Sonya (@Carpenter1010) is the Director of C
yber Operations\n Training at a large organization. He has a background
 in software\n development\, malware analysis\, covert channels\, stegano
 graphy\,\n distributed computing\, computer hacking\, information protec
tion\n paradigms\, and cyber warfare. He received his Undergraduate Degr
ee in\n Computer Science and has Master’s degrees in Computer Science
and\n Information System Engineering. Before becoming Director of Cyber\
n Operations Training\, he was a university Computer Science Assistant\n
Professor of Computer Science and Research Director. Solomon’s\n cu
rrent research includes computer system exploitation\, cyber threat\n in
 telligence\, digital forensics\, and data protection.\n\n Solomon's prev
ious keynote and conference engagements include:\n BlackHat USA\, SecTor
  Canada\, Hack in Paris\, France\, HackCon Norway\,\n ICSIS – Toronto\

  TakeDownCon Connecticut\, Maryland\, and Alabama\,\n AFCEA – Colorado
  Springs.\n\n Twitter: [2]@Carpenter1010\n\n Description:\n Malware
continues to advance in sophistication. Well-engineered\n malware can ob
fuscate itself from the user and the OS. Volatile memory\n is the unique
structure malware cannot evade. I have engineered a new\n construct for
memory analysis and a new open-source tool that\n automates memory anal
 ysis\, correlation\, and user-interaction to\n increase investigation ac
curacy\, reduce analysis time and workload\,\n and better detect malware
presence from memory. This talk demos a new\n visualization construct t
hat creates the ability to interact with\n memory analysis artifacts. Ad
ditionally\, this talk demos new\, very\n impactful data XREF and a syst
em manifest analysis features. Data XREF\n provides an index and memory
context detailing how your search data is\n coupled with processes\, mod
ules\, and events captured in memory. The\n System Manifest distills the
analysis data to create a new memory\n analysis snapshot and precise id
entification of malicious artifacts\n detectable from malware execution
especially useful for exploit dev\n and malware analysis!\n\n Audience
