 duated from Xavier University in Cincinnati\, Ohio\n   with a B.S.B.A with
  a STEM related focus on Information Systems and\n   became a licensed att
 orney in the State of Texas in 1999. Ms. Chaney\n   began her career journ
 ey by serving as a Special Agent for the Federal\n   Bureau of Investigati
 on (FBI) in Los Angeles. While with the FBI she\n   investigated all types
  of cyber related criminal activities\, including\n   denial of service at
 tacks\, computer intrusions\, internet piracy\,\n   intellectual property 
 theft\, and copyright infringement. As a\n   collateral duty she also serv
 ed as the Associate Chief Information\n   Security Officer and Information
  Systems Security Officer\, where she\n   was responsible for physical\, b
 uilding\, information systems\, and\n   personnel security.\n\n   Maryâ€™s
  global experience includes executive level information\n   security and p
 rivacy roles with GE Capital (NYSE: GE)\, Johnson &\n   Johnson (NYSE: JNJ
 )\, Comcast Corporation (NYSE: CMCSA) and Esperion\n   Therapeutics (NASDA
 Q: ESPR). At GE Capital\, she was the Director of\n   Incident Response wh
 ere she led a team responsible for supporting over\n   14\,000 GE Capital 
 Americas end-users. Those responsibilities included\n   creating\, draftin
 g and publishing IT security policies\, standards and\n   procedures to su
 pport the overall mission of the organization. At\n   Johnson & Johnson\, 
 she was the Director of the Security Operations\n   Center\, where she led
  the 24x7 Global Security Operations Center that\n   monitored over 130\,0
 00 employees across 250 businesses. Mary was\n   responsible for developin
 g the overall strategic direction for\n   security operations\, in additio
 n to staffing and developing training\n   curriculum for her team to maint
 ain constant knowledge of the changing\n   cybersecurity threat landscape.
  At Comcast Corporation\, Mary was a\n   Senior Director of Information Se
 curity\, in the Global CISOâ€™s\n   office\, which had oversight responsib
 ilities for both Comcast Cable\n   and NBC Universal for cyber risk manage
 ment. Her responsibilities\n   included reviewing\, assessing\, and develo
 ping strategy to ensure\n   information securities policies\, procedures\,
  and standards were\n   applied effectively and consistently across the co
 rporation. As well\n   as proving the health and effectiveness of the glob
 al information\n   security program by developing a cyber risk metrics das
 hboard that\n   measured Comcastâ€™s cyber risk posture across a multitude
  of areas.\n   At Esperion\, she was the Director of Information Security 
 and Privacy.\n   Her responsibilities included developing the overall stra
 tegic\n   direction for both Information Security and Privacy\, which incl
 uded\n   performing an information security and privacy assessment modelin
 g the\n   development of both programs using the NIST Cybersecurity and Pr
 ivacy\n   Frameworks. Drafting and publishing policies\, standards and pro
 cedures\n   for both Information Security and Privacy.\n\n   Maryâ€™s entr
 epreneur endeavors include starting and running MBS\n   Information Securi
 ty Consulting\, LLC (MBS). MBS provides information\n   security consultin
 g\, training\, and outsourcing services for small and\n   midsized busines
 ses\, specifically focused on delivering sensible and\n   affordable infor
 mation security solutions. Mary opened the Law Offices\n   of Mary N. Chan
 ey\, P.L.L.C\, The Cyber Security Law Firm Of Texas\, in\n   2018 with the
  specific mission of helping translate and advise\, Boards\n   of Director
 s\, CIO's\, CISO's and General Counsel's on how to legally\n   protect the
 ir company from cyber related risk.\n\n   Mary serves the overall cybersec
 urity community in multiple ways. She\n   serves on several advisory board
 s including: Post University\, where\n   she helps develop strategies on i
 mproving the cybersecurity curriculum\n   to ensure students are more prep
 ared to enter the cybersecurity\n   workforce upon graduation\; and The Cy
 ber Law Consortium which\n   primarily focuses on educating its members on
  the key issues\, and the\n   potential dangers and consequences\, for bus
 inesses dealing with\n   cybersecurity and data privacy issues. Previous b
 oard membership\n   included the CompTIA© Cybersecurity Advisory Board (CC
 AB). CCAB\n   addressed many of the most pressing cybersecurity concerns f
 acing\n   business and government and worked to educate and shape laws and
 \n   legislation in the cybersecurity and privacy space\; and ChickTech\n 
   which is a national organization that encourages women and girls of\n   
 all ages to pursue careers in technology industry. Mary is an adjunct\n   
 professor with the University of Cincinnati\, where she teaches online\n  
  courses in cybersecurity to assist with the development of the next\n   g
 eneration of cybersecurity professionals. Lastly\, in 2019 she\n   launche
 d her own nonprofit\, Minorities in Cybersecurity\, Inc. (MiC)\n   which f
 ocuses on support\, leadership and career development for women\n   and mi
