Her current role consists of instructing NetSPI\n University students (a training program for those that are new to\n penetration testing) and o verseeing the performance of web application\n pentests. In addition to web application testing\, she also dabbles in\n social engineering\, clo ud\, and network testing. As a member of the Infrastructure and Security team\, Rebekah is\n part of a collaborat ive group of technology professionals that serve\n as the primary techni cal resource to help safeguard the organization's\n computer networks an d systems. In her role she is responsible for\n planning and carrying ou t security measures to monitor and protect\n sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.\n\n Prior to joining Schellman in 2 022\, Rebekah worked for the Texas\n Rangers in a myriad of roles includ ing Cybersecurity Analyst and\n Manager of IT Applications and Operation s. During the construction of\n the Rangers new state-of-the-art ballpar k\, Globe Life Field\, Rebekah\n assisted the Rangers IT department in c reating plans to transition\n over 200 front office employees to their n ew workspaces. Outside\n baseball and IT\, Rebekah is also interested in politics and started\n volunteering for campaigns in 2008. From 2013- 2 016\, she served as a\n Campaign Manager in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In 2015\, she attended\n the Women’s Campaign School at Yale. Tessa's area of research focuses on offender s' effect(s)\n on targets and victims within the cybercrime ecosystem\, including\, but\n not limited to revenge pornography\, sexting among ado lescents\, and\n online fraud. She is proficient in both SPSS and STATA and is\n currently developing GIS and PYTHON skills. Recently\, Dr. Rege has\n invited her to participate and share her research knowledge in tw o\n panels\, an academic panel highlighting black cybercrime researchers \n and Temple University's Cybersecurity in Application\, Research\, and \n Education (CARE) Lab's Social Engineering Educator Workshop.\n\n Ad ditionally\, she is published in Victims & Offenders with several\n fort hcoming articles in peer-reviewed journals. She previously held the roles of Information\n Security Analyst at The New York Times Company and a Cyber Analyst for\n GlaxoSmithKline. P rior to joining the Information Security field\,\n Tracy worked as a lib rarian in academic\, corporate\, and law firm\n libraries. She holds a M aster of Library and Information Science\n degree from the University of Pittsburgh in addition to undergraduate\n degrees from both Temple Univ ersity (magna cum laude) and the\n Pennsylvania State University.
