 brushes their teeth\, but seems never\n   to get drilled in the dentist's 
 chair. Why are they special? We also\n   know the person who no matter how
  diligent they are with oral hygiene\n   is constantly in the dentist's of
 fice. Why are they unlucky? The most\n   common infectious disease in huma
 ns is dental caries\, commonly\n   referred to as cavities. This has plagu
 ed humanity since it became a\n   species\, and continues to this day. It 
 disproportionately is suffered\n   by those in the lower socioeconomic cla
