 cademy 401-410\, 421 (Track 3) - [1]Map\n Speakers:Billy Jheng\,Muhammad
ALifa Ramdhan\n\n SpeakerBio:Billy Jheng \, Security Researcher at STAR
Labs\n Billy Jheng is a information security researcher at STAR Labs\,\
n focusing on Hypervisor and Linux Kernel vulnerability research and\n
exploitation\, a member of the Balsn CTF team.\n\n He participated in P
 wn2Own 2021 Vancouver & Austin and was a speaker\n at conferences HITCON
 .\n\n Twitter: [2]@st424204\n\n SpeakerBio:Muhammad ALifa Ramdhan \, S
ecurity Researcher at STAR Labs\n Muhammad Ramdhan is a security researc
her at STAR Labs\, currently\n interested on Linux Kernel\, Hypervisor o
r Container vulnerability\n research and exploitation. He is also a CTF
enthusiast who is\n currently a member of CTF team SuperGuesser focusing
  on binary\n exploitation problems.\n Twitter: [3]@n0psledbyte\n\n D
escription:\n Container security is a prevalent topic in security resear
ch. Due to\n the great design and long-term effort\, containers have bee
n more and\n more secure. Usage of container technology is increasingly
being used.\n Container security is a topic that has started to be discu
ssed a lot\n lately.\n\n In late 2021\, Google increased the vulnerabi
lity reward program in\n kCTF infrastructure\, which was built on top of
Kubernetes and Google\n Container Optimized OS\, with a minimum reward
 of $31\,337 per\n submission.\n\n In this talk\, we will share about h
ow we managed to have 4 successful\n submissions on kCTF VRP by exploiti
ng four Linux kernel bugs to\n perform container escape on kCTF cluster\
, we will explain some\n interesting kernel exploit techniques and trick
s that can be used to\n bypass the latest security mitigation in Linux k
ernel. We will also\n share what we did wrong that causes us to nearly l
ose 1 of the bounty.\n\n As of writing\, there are 14 successful entries
to kCTF. In this\n presentation\, we are willing to share our full\, in
-depth details on\n the research of kCTF.\n\n To the best of our knowl
edge\, this presentation will be the first to\n talk about a complete me
thodology to pwn kCTF (find and exploit bugs\n within 0-day and 1-day) i
 n public.\n\n '\n\n 1. https://defcon.outel.org/consolidated_page.html
