d applications. He is a thought leader in Cloud and\n Kubernetes Securit
y is one of the larger focused cybersecurity firms\n in the Netherlands.

SpeakerBio:Siebren Kraak\n Siebren Kraak is a Dutch full-stack Azure dev
eloper specializing in\n Security and Cloud and is currently a master's
 student at a university\n in The Netherlands.\n\n Description:\n Lin
k to tool: [3]https://www.brokenazure.cloud/\n\n Because cloud and on-pr
emise infrastructures are not alike\, security\n analysts require a diff
erent skillset when assessing cloud\n infrastructure. There are multiple
courses and exams that can be taken\n to learn how to work with and aud
it cloud environments. All these\n courses teach a global understanding
of cloud security\, but do not go\n in-depth due to all services having
a different portal and setup. With\n this tool we will create security h
acking training for the rapidly\n developing Azure space.\n\n With thi
s tool we will create security hacking training for the\n rapidly develo
ping Azure space. We aim to breach the gap between\n theory and practice
in a real secured Azure cloud environment. The\n software allows everyo
ne that is trying to get into the field of cloud\n security to train the
ir skills in the Azure space\, with a\n Capture-the-Flag requiring multi
ple vulnerabilities that need to be\n exploited. All challenges are host
ed online for free for anyone that\n wants to use the software. The chal
lenges are beginner-friendly. The\n broken features are explained to giv
e insight into why they exist and\n how they can be prevented. If the us
er is not able to figure out how\n to complete the challenge\, additiona
l hints (and eventually the\n answer) can be requested. The environment
 is built using the\n Infrastructure-As-Code language Terraform\, which w
ill all be\n open-source to allow other developers and security professi
onals to\n add new challenges and make the tool even better.\n\n '\n\n
