 erences across the country.\n\n   Description:\n   This is a fun technical
  talk covering three of my favorite security\n   investigations as an Inci
 dent Response professional. The presentation\n   features demoed reenactme
 nts of actual real-world attacks. I showcase\n   both the attacker side as
  well as the investigation side of these\n   security incidents. I show an
 d talk through example source code and\n   explain how each of the attacks
  work. I then flip these scenarios\n   around by explaining how to use num
 erous free and open-source tools to\n   investigate those same security in
 cidents. Each scenario is closed by\n   covering the follow-up remediation
  steps.\n\n   Protecting systems and networks as a tech defender means wit
 hstanding\n   a constant barrage of unsophisticated attacks from automated
  tools\,\n   botnets\, crawlers\, exploit kits\, phish kits\, and script k
 iddies\; oh\n   my! Occasionally\, we encounter attacks worthy of style po
 ints for\n   creativity or new twists on old attack techniques. This talk 
 features\n   demoed reenactments from some advanced attacks investigated b
 y the\n   presenter. The demos showcase technical deep dives of the\n   un
 derpinnings from both the attacker and investigator sides of these\n   att
 acks. Attendee key takeaways are strategies\, freely available\n   tools\,
