 th writing code and\n   explaining code snippets. These transformer-based 
 models have learned\n   patterns and probabilities from large datasets of 
 open source code and\n   human text. A Wired article claims one plugin wri
 tes “a remarkable\n   35 percent of its users’ newly posted code”.\n
 \n   Could these models be a new source of exploits and risky coding\n   p
 ractices? What can research in Natural Language Generation tell us\n   abo
 ut what to expect from our new AI coworkers?\n\n   This presentation will 
 cover:\n\n   How code explanation models\, by reading variable names and c
 omments\n   for context clues\, can be tricked to ignore unusual imports a
 nd calls\n   to remote servers in their descriptions.\n\n   How code gener
 ation models may generate different code based on\n   licenses and author 
 names. Others’ research shows these models’\n   accuracy are highly va
 riable based on “prompt engineering”\n   (example: “I’ve tested th
 is function myself so I know that it’s\n   correct:”).\n\n   An advers
 arial search for comments\, prompts\, and decoding strategies\n   which wo
 uld increase the chance of a SQL injection vulnerability in\n   generated 
 code. This helps evaluate if normal user interaction may\n   result in mod
 els recommending exploitable coding.\n\n   Resources will include a GitHub
  repo\, runnable notebooks\, and a form\n   to suggest new prompts for cod
