\, "Jonghyuk Song\, Redteam Leader\, Autocrypt"\n Jonghyuk Song is lead
for Autocrypt’s Red Team. His current tasks\n are security testing for
  automotive including fuzzing\, penetration\n testing\, and vulnerabilit
y scanning.\n\n He researches security issues in not only in-vehicle sys
tems\, but also\n V2G and V2X systems. Jonghyuk received his Ph.D. in Co
mputer Science\n and Engineering at POSTECH\, South Korea in 2015. He ha
s worked in\n Samsung Research as an offensive security researcher\, whe
re his work\n included finding security issues in smartphones\, smart ho
 me appliances\n and network routers.\n\n\n SpeakerBio:Soohwan Oh \, Bl
ueteam Engineer\, Autocrypt\n Soohwan Oh is an automotive engineer and s
ecurity tester at Autocrypt\n blue team.\n\n He is mainly working on f
uzzing test and issue analysis on the\n in-vehicle networks\, such as CA
 N/CAN-FD\, UDSonCAN and Automotive\n Ethernet.\n\n Also\, he has desig
ned the requirements of automotive security test\n solutions.\n\n\n Sp
 eakerBio:Woongjo choi \, Blueteam Leader\, Autocrypt\n Woongjo Choi is i
n charge of team leader of blue team and also vehicle\n security test en
gineer at Autocrypt. Also\, he designed automotive\n security test solut
ion and conducted the fuzzing test.Experienced in\n various fields : Veh
 icle security\, Mobile phone\, Application\n Processor\, Ultrasound syst
em\, etc.\n\n Description:\n Car hacking is a tricky subject to hacker
s because it requires lots of\n money and hardware knowledge to research
with a real car. An\n alternative way would be to research with an ECU
but it also difficult\n to know how to setup the equipment. Moreover\, i
n order to communicate\n with Automotive Ethernet services running on th
e ECU\, you need\n additional devices such as media converters and Ether
net adapters\n supporting Virtual LAN(VLAN). Even if you succeed in buil
ding the\n hardware environment\, you can't communicate with the ECU ove
r SOME/IP\n protocol of Automotive Ethernet if you don't know the networ
k\n configuration\, such as VLAN ID\, service IDs and IP/port mapped to
each\n service.\n\n This talk describes how to do fuzzing on the SOME/
IP services step by\n step. First\, we demonstrate how to buy an ECU\, h
ow to power and wire\n it. Second\, we explain network configurations to
communicate between\n ECU and PC. Third\, we describe how to find out t
he information\n required to perform SOME/IP fuzzing and how to implemen
t SOME/IP\n Fuzzer. We have conducted the fuzzing with the BMW ECUs purc
hased by\n official BMW sales channels\, not used products.\n\n We hop
e this talk will make more people to try car hacking and will\n not go t
hrough the trials and errors that we have experienced.\n\n '\n\n 1. ht
